BRAND
Lofree
Keyboards designed like objects for your desk: retro shapes, candy colours, slim aluminium bodies, and even the typing sound is tuned.
What the brand is about
Lofree says it was founded by a team of designers. Its founder and designer, Tim Chu, has more than 20 years of experience and has designed over 150 keyboards and consumer electronics products. Its motto is "Build Your 2㎡": people who care about the couple of square metres around them deserve things that look good and work well. Lofree focuses on how people, products and space relate, and wants its products to appeal to touch, sight and hearing, not just to work.
Lines we sell
- Flow (low-profile): Flow 2 (with Mac editions laid out like a MacBook), Flow Lite, the original Flow, and the Edge, Lofree's thinnest and lightest. For anyone who wants a thin keyboard without giving up feel.
- Design and colour editions (standard height): the typewriter-style Return, the seventies-inspired 1970s, the Lipstick with its lipstick ESC key, the terrazzo-patterned ZERO ARTZ, the suitcase-like Wanderfree, and the Polar Moss, tuned to a 432 Hz typing sound.
- Mice: the Hypace gaming mouse with a magnesium-alloy frame at 47 g, and office mice that match the keyboards, such as the Touch PBT, Petal and Lipstick mouse.
Who it suits
- People who want a good-looking desk, where the keyboard is part of the décor.
- Writers and typists who like a Mac-style look: the Flow line.
- Anyone who wants a matching keyboard and mouse: Lipstick and Polar Moss both have mice in the same style.
