BRAND
Keychron
The widest range of the three: all-metal custom keyboards, magnetic keyboards and 8K gaming mice, with a model for almost every need.
What the brand is about
Keychron says it specialises in designing and building keyboards and mice, with more than 40 keyboard models. Open source matters to it: most of its keyboards run open-source firmware, so users can check the code themselves. Keychron says it was first to bring Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz and Hall effect (magnetic) support to the open-source QMK firmware, led the way in putting ZMK firmware into mass production, and released the first wireless magnetic keyboard.
Remapping and settings happen in the web-based Launcher: nothing to download, and it works on both Mac and Windows. Lemokey, which we also sell, is Keychron's gaming sub-brand.
Lines we sell
- Q series (all-metal): custom keyboards with metal bodies, such as the Q1 HE, Q1 Ultra 8K and Q3 Max.
- HE magnetic keyboards: the K2 HE, K8 HE, K10 HE and more, plus special editions in wood, concrete, resin and carbon fibre such as the Carbon 60 HE 8K.

Who it suits
- Anyone after a weighty custom keyboard to tinker with: the Q series.
- Anyone who wants a matching keyboard and mouse from one brand: Keychron has both in depth.
- People who value open firmware and like to remap: most models support QMK / VIA or the web Launcher.
